Funky Lighting

Part A

  • Step 1: Group Character Creation

    • 1 Coloring Page per Group Member

      • Have Fun Coloring Them!!!

  • Step 2: Creating a Story

​

  • Step 3: Story Board â€‹

    • Draw out the story in "Comic Strip" Style

      • AT LEAST: Each Plot Structure = Picture Square

    • Under Each Scene Section:

      • ​Label​
        • Scene Synopsis

        • Warm GI / Cool GI / Neutral GI / Fully Lighted GI

        • Specials

          • Gobo

          • Gel Colors (You will pick the colors later)

            • Brand / Color Name / Color #

  • Step 4: Getting Your Stage Set

    • Cut Out Each of your Characters​​

      • Feel free to obtain more if you need them​

      • Attach each Character to a Popsicle Stick 

        • Leave room at the bottom for the stand​

    • Create and Cut Out​ Setting Pieces

      • Houses / Barns / Caves ​

Part B

  • Step 5: Getting the Lighting Right​​

    • Each Group will get 6 miniature Lighting Sources​

      • Also use ​cellphones, etc.

    • Choose Gel Colors

      • Fill in chosen colors under each Scene on your Story Board​

        • Test Out the Colors Before you Choose Them!!!!​

    • Create and Cut Out Gobos​

      • You will need 2 to hit Basic â€‹Project Requirements

  • ​​Step 6: Create & Photograph

    • Create your Scenes â€‹using the Stands & "Amphitheaters" provided

    • Take a picture of each Scene set up

      • DO NOT USE FLASH!!!!​

Part C

  • Step 7: Turning it In​​​​​

    • Put all Scene Photographs within a Google Doc​ or Google Slides

      • Title:​ 

        • ALL Group Members Last Names / LP​ / Period

          • ex: SmithJohnsonGuerraBrown​LPB2

      • Set Up​

        • Heading

          • All Group Members Full Names / Title / Class Period​

            • ex: John Smith​ / Xavier Johnson / Brittany Guerra / Jennifer Brown "The Little Ant That Could" B2​​

        • Scene Photographs in Story Board Order

          • Under Each Picture include:​

            • Scene Synopsis​

            • Warm GI / Cool GI / Neutral GI / Fully Lighted GI

            • Specials

              • Gobo

              • Gel Colors

                • Brand / Color Name / Color #

  • Step 8: Share with Langehennig​​​​​​​

    • ON GOOGLE DRIVE / DOCS / SLIDES​
